Description

Reality is overrated…

Exhausted single mom Daisy Garner is shocked when her blog about life with Darling Husband and Baby Delight in their charming Victorian home brings a national talk show to her door.

Amazing! Except she made the whole thing up.

Panic! Now she needs to borrow a Victorian house and find a man to play her fake husband on TV.

Travis O'Hare steps up for the role, as long as she'll marry him for real. He wants their son to have the stable home life Travis never had.

But before the wedding can happen, Travis and Daisy have to get through the interview with a ratings hungry host and a slick producer with ties to Daisy's troubled past. When a winter storm traps them all, it begs the question: can two people pretending at love finally discover the real thing?

I was so excited when the new Clover Park book came out! Daisy's propensity for *slight* exaggerations that lead to gigantic problems was both hilarious and touching. Even though she was responsible for her own mess, you can't help but root for Daisy to get the amazing life she blogs about. Travis is an amazing guy, the kind of guy most women would go crazy for and his pursuit to keep his family together is so sweet. I fell in love with Clover Park in the first book and in this second book it was so fun to learn more about the town and the people in it. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

No spoilers! I loved this charming, funny, sexy second book in the Clover Park series! The pacing was perfect and I was hooked and unable to put it down because I had to know what happened to Daisy when her perfectly fake mommy blog life collided with her real one! Gilmore contrasts some steamy scenes (which do not disappoint!) with some hilarious ones like when a crying baby makes Daisy’s milk release as she is blogging about how to seduce your man post baby! So much heart and truth through the entire story! This is a well-written story about when a lie gets away from you, the consequences, and the ability to accept your shortcomings and forgive yourself and be happy with what life has sent your way! I can’t wait until the next Clover Park book!
