Landscapes of China

Explore the wonders of China with the Bedford Girls’ School Junior School Enhanced Curriculum Series. Each of the activities is supported by the IB learner profile, and it is expected students will create a portfolio while studying the topic across the curriculum.

In Landscapes of China:
1. China Landscape - research a city and use sources to find out about infrastructure
2. Death & Burial - study information about royal burials and excavated. Who was Fu Hao?
3. Persistence - How can we overcome obstacles? What are the keys to success?
4. Atmospheric Landscape - use watercolour pencils to draw a landscape
5. Symbols - discover the symbols of Buddhism and complete a Mandala
6. Project Books - improve your work

Bedford Girls’ School is an independent day school for girls aged 7-18 in Bedford, UK, and is operated by the Harpur Trust. We are a 1:1 iPad school, and this is one of a number of resources created for our students.
