Get swept up in an epic romance from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Notebook, a heartbreaking love story spanning decades and continents--from North Carolina to Zimbabwe.
Hope Anderson is at a crossroads. At thirty-six, she's been dating her boyfriend, an orthopedic surgeon, for six years. With no wedding plans in sight, and her father recently diagnosed with ALS, she decides to use a week at her family's cottage in Sunset Beach, North Carolina, to ready the house for sale and mull over some difficult decisions about her future.
Tru Walls has never visited North Carolina but is summoned to Sunset Beach by a letter from a man claiming to be his father. A safari guide, born and raised in Zimbabwe, Tru hopes to unravel some of the mysteries surrounding his mother's early life and recapture memories lost with her death. When the two strangers cross paths, their connection is as electric as it is unfathomable . . . but in the immersive days that follow, their feelings for each other will give way to choices that pit family duty against personal happiness in devastating ways.
Illuminating life's heartbreaking regrets and enduring hope, EVERY BREATH explores the many facets of love that lay claim to our deepest loyalties--while asking the question, How long can a dream survive?
So Good5By maryrobinson193This book is one of my favorites of his! The story is a amazing and it make its all the better knowing it’s based off a true love story.
Every Breath5By tesarichTypical Sparks, but with a twist! Could not put it down!
Good but not great4By danfred16I have read every book Nicholas Sparks has wrote. I was glued to this book the second I started it. I absolutely loved how you felt how in love they were, but the curve ball of them meeting again in their sixties really wrecked the book. If it wasn’t a true story you should have them meet younger so they could actually have a life together... being “that” in love. Other than that I loved it.
Wordy1By marie's bestI stopped reading this on page 65. It's just too wordy.
So good!5By BanittasRead it...
Outstanding!5By DghjigfgjkncdrSparks has done it again, with another amazing work of art! I love this one just as much, if not more, than the others! My favorite at this moment!
Easily forgetabke2By summorfeathersI just couldn’t relate to this book... it all sounded ...forgettable . And kindred spirits would be better title ... the title is even forgettable ...
Wanting More3By chinabradI was disappointed at the depth of the story, which was lacking. Having read many of his books in the past there was no similar charm. The ending of the book, in particular, left me wanting for something more.
Something New Please?1By Crispy151Is Nicholas ever going start writing more books beyond the theme of “person in relationship meets someone new and they fall madly in love and realize the person they are currently with isn’t good enough and this random stranger they meet is the one and they were meant for each other all along”? True love is a wonderful read, but why is it that the characters constantly seem to need to be in relationships that are “not good enough” and just happen to find someone else? It’s basically a soft twisted rationale of an unfaithful cheat.. Wonderful, amazing love doesn’t have to be found within confiding in someone new and “discovering” that what you have isn’t good enough. Can we have some more amazing books like The Wedding? Where there is dedicated and new found love WITHIN the relationship, not outside of it?
