By Nicholas Sparks
Get swept up in an epic romance from the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Notebook, a heartbreaking love story spanning decades and continents--from North Carolina to Zimbabwe.
Hope Anderson is at a crossroads. At thirty-six, she's been dating her boyfriend, an orthopedic surgeon, for six years. With no wedding plans in sight, and her father recently diagnosed with ALS, she decides to use a week at her family's cottage in Sunset Beach, North Carolina, to ready the house for sale and mull over some difficult decisions about her future.
Tru Walls has never visited North Carolina but is summoned to Sunset Beach by a letter from a man claiming to be his father. A safari guide, born and raised in Zimbabwe, Tru hopes to unravel some of the mysteries surrounding his mother's early life and recapture memories lost with her death. When the two strangers cross paths, their connection is as electric as it is unfathomable . . . but in the immersive days that follow, their feelings for each other will give way to choices that pit family duty against personal happiness in devastating ways.
Illuminating life's heartbreaking regrets and enduring hope, EVERY BREATH explores the many facets of love that lay claim to our deepest loyalties--while asking the question, How long can a dream survive?
A great Read with up and down emotions5By MJBiscegWhile reading this, I felt myself and thought about only anger with regret. In the end it has made me see that forgiveness and understanding are much stronger forces. Two people who loved and lost love have shown that, that lost love will always prevail for reasons only known to a higher power.
Every breath5By Won't take reviewThis wonderful experience truly took my breath away and made me realize....it's NEVER too late ❤️
Left feeling confused with so much time wasted.2By Peterson2332This is the worst book you have written..... I can’t even come up with words to explain how awkward and drawn out some parts were and the lack of so much detail in other parts. It seemed like a big jumble of memories in someone’s head pouring out. It was awful.
Stopped reading after the first few chapters1By mzreep9917Realized that the setting was supposed to be in 1990 but Sparks talks about one character texting towards the end of Chapter Two. Sparks has gotten sloppy with his writing and this just shows there was no concern for the historical integrity of the book.
Every breath5By Brian's loveA beautiful love story that touches your heart . . We all dream and strive to experience a love so deep and everlasting. Beautifully written.
Enticing5By Their mom0714I couldn’t put the book down. I finished it in about a day and a half. I cried laughed and got lost in the love story of Hope and Tru. It was definitely worth reading.
So Good5By maryrobinson193This book is one of my favorites of his! The story is a amazing and it make its all the better knowing it’s based off a true love story.
Every Breath5By tesarichTypical Sparks, but with a twist! Could not put it down!
Good but not great4By danfred16I have read every book Nicholas Sparks has wrote. I was glued to this book the second I started it. I absolutely loved how you felt how in love they were, but the curve ball of them meeting again in their sixties really wrecked the book. If it wasn’t a true story you should have them meet younger so they could actually have a life together... being “that” in love. Other than that I loved it.
Wordy1By marie's bestI stopped reading this on page 65. It's just too wordy.
