Melissa Sanderson is the perfect wife and mother. She dotes on her daughter, and lives in her dream home in a quiet cul-de-sac in the suburbs.
But looks can be deceiving.
Something is amiss in that house – all the neighbours think so. Some say Melissa is having an affair. Others say she’s been drinking too much.
Then one night, sirens wake up the whole neighbourhood.
Melissa Sanderson is dead.
AN ABSOLUTELY UNPUTDOWNABLE THRILLER WITH A BRILLIANT ENDING YOU WON’T SEE COMING – if you like Lisa Gardner, Robert Bryndza or Clare Mackintosh, Her Final Hour will keep you reading well into the night.
**Each Gina Harte book can be read as part of the series or as a standalone**

4By JustRissaGood story lineGood series of stories
4By DMAC5659Nicely written, the story keeps you attentive to keep reading. Need to still get used to British English sentences.😁
4By AllRyledupLoved this book and can’t wait to read the next in the series! Slow start, but once you get into it you can’t put it down!fast reading but nothing more
3By Rit2407first book I read of this writer. first half better than the final which seemed rushed. weak weak characters all seem to be side players around the main one Gina who is well played out. Even the perpetrator no depth whatsoever. Writing is ripetitive: the coffee the dog the bread the husband longing over the wife, the wife over husband, Terry....at some point it got annoyingThese books are truly unputdown-able
5By Bridg6980I am really really liking this author. Each book follows several tracks, and I must confess that I’m interested in character development of the team working to solve terrible crimes. Just about to start third in the series. I also loved the police procedural. My Review
5By lala082703I’ll be honest, J haven’t read a book in about 4 years and i absolutely loved book. I could not put it up, I finished it in TWO days. This book even made me tear up at the end bc i was touched by it. If you definitely want a good crime book, THIS IS THE BOOK!!Enjoyed!!!!!
5By Mlawyer112My Review: Loved!!!!! This one made me want to hug my family even tighter at night and never let them go. I want to start off by saying that this could definitely be made into a great psychological thriller movie. It had all the right components. It had great characters, storyline and one heck of an ending. Once I started this one I just couldn’t put it down. As each chapter went on I had to find out more and more. I had to know who done it and why. This book is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. I have read them myself out of order and have had no issues understanding any one of them. I also want to say how much I love this series. The main reason is because all the detectives mesh so well together. They act so much more like a family rather than just work colleagues that have to get along with each. It made me want to be part of their family and have what they have. Carla Kovach you have outdone yourself once again. I can’t wait to read more of your books. In conclusion, the plot, the characters and all the twists in this book made this book an enjoyable read. I would definitely recommend it and happily give it 5 Hearts❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Couldn't put it down!
5By zfdfrzgxxThis is a good thriller. I kept reading it late into the night. It was so engrossing, I couldn't put it down.A gripping thriller that doesn't let you go!
5By Go girl!!I read The Next Girl and had to put it down several times because my heart was pounding and it was no different for The Final Hour, I pre-ordered the book as soon as I finished the first one. Harte is a strong female lead character that stops at nothing to get the job done. I admire this character and her independence. Carla leaves out no details and paints a vivid picture of every scene in the book with her writing.
