Queen of Shadows

'Queen of Shadows' is about a group of mercenaries who decamp from England and venture into rebellious Scotland. They embark on a mission to identify, infiltrate, subvert and destroy any factions hostile to the British monarchy that they find in the northern parts of the UK.

It's a parallel universe sort of tale. If there is an overarching theme, recall that Misner, Thorne and Wheeler mention the "marvelous simplicity" of the universe right at the beginning of "Gravitation."

Why did the UK allow for decades thousands of British girls to be raped by gangs of foreign invaders? Because lots of people in the UK get government kickbacks from bringing hordes of raping foreigners into the UK, and UK politicians need votes from various voting blocs to get elected, and if you offend voters by speaking the truth about them, then you won't get their votes, so you won't be elected.

Yes, the marvelous simplicity of the universe is on full display all round us! Throw open your borders to 3rd world barbarians and your nation will soon become a 3rd world nation. Marvelous simplicity! In a Republic you win elections by pandering to the rabble. It's all so simple and obvious any idiot can understand how it works.

Britannia has produced so very many eminent scientists, writers, artists, historians, actors, film directors, rock stars, abolitionists...

But this success might have negative consequences. I mean if you live in a world which idolizes celebrities and high achievers, then lots of people with little or no talent might want to find ways to cheat, scam and deceive, in order to become seen as celebrities and high achievers, in Politics, in Science, in Show Biz etc, when in fact they are cheaters and scammers and very low achievers.

Start with the premise...

Christianity is the True Faith.

Now if that premise is all wrong, if Christianity is a lie, a scam, a huge deceitful CULT...then...you're lost in delusion, you're lost in madness, YOU'RE LOST IN A HUGE DECEITFUL CULT, if you are a Christian.

Perhaps you're always going to be SOMETHING OF A LUNATIC IF YOU ARE LOST IN A HUGE DECEITFUL CULT. Perhaps, perhaps.

But, on the other hand, if Christianity is the True Faith, as we Christians insist, if BILLIONS OF Non-Christians ARE LOST IN BIG DECEITFUL CULTS...

IF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND IS NONE OTHER THAN GOD'S TRUE CHURCH which leads people to Heaven, then a person will always be lost in DELUSION, LOST IN INSANITY, HE WILL ALWAYS BE SOMETHING OF A LUNATIC LOST IN MADNESS, if he insists on rebelling against the British monarch: if he insists on rebelling against GOD'S TRUE CHURCH, THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND.

How do you expect to attain Heaven and escape perdition if you rebel against God's True Church?

NOW of course of course if the Church of England is not God's True Church, if the Church of England is a false church lost in heresy which drags people down to eternal perdition, then you must flee the FALSE CHURCH known as the Church of England, and you must find the True Church, and hopefully find her before you die and find yourself damned to eternal perdition at the Last Judgment, recall Revelation 20. 12-15.
Not many theological discourses are given in this novel! But it must also be said that the fans of GROOMING GANGS will be bored with my brand of fiction. I do have some VOLUPTUOUS GIRLS in this book, but, still, if you are looking for hot steamy pornographic action, IF YOU DEMAND TITILLATING EXCITEMENT IN YOUR READING MATERIAL, then this book is probably nothing you'd be interested in.
