Ford, Season One, Episode Four

F%#king Screwed by Shannyn Leah and Kelly Moore is the fourth installment of The Crazy Rich Davenports series. This series should be read in the order it is written. This installment is dedicated to getting to know Ford, and yes, we really got to know ALL of him and yes, he is definitely f%#cking screwed. There is so much going on in this book, I was unable to put it down. Ford somehow gets himself into so much trouble you just have to shake your head and laugh. I am definitely looking forward to see how he comes out of the quagmires he has gotten himself into. But, that's not all that is going on, Yaya is still up to her shenanigans and when she teams up with Tommy it's just hilarious. And then there is poor Lucy, who is being pulled between the two men in her life. Now I am looking forward to meeting Gemma. This series is better than reality TV. You must read these books in order or you will not be able to follow the story. This book centers around Ford and the decisions he needs to make about working with his grandfather. These books are deliciously raucous and hilarious. The story is told from all the characters viewpoints. The writing is great - there is continuity between the characters. The story is not lost in the multiple voices. WOW, this series just keeps getting better. Sure, they have a lot of issues, but this series just pulls you in. I can’t wait to see what the next episode has for us. I’m still Team Troy for Lucy and I hope they end up together. Although, this family is highly dysfunctional, they truly love each other and will do what it takes to protect each other. I recommend reading these books in order to get the full meaning of what it is to be a crazy rich Davenport.
