Challenging the Doctor

A powerful story. The two main characters, find themselves attracted to each other, but so many hurdles to get thru. A lot of doubt, seems both have lots of baggage, they seem to hold onto. As the plot gets interesting the story unravels and the real problems must come to the forefront so they can be together. Wow what an ending. So good,

Always an HEA but what a way to get one. The story is tender, loving and full of drama. I but I love all the characters and their stories. Each one brings new excitement to the surface. I can’t wait for book 3.

Great read. Kept reading until I finished it. I enjoyed reading about Edmund and Jade and how their romance went through difficult times but over came them all.

Down to earth story about how anyone can overcome a lot of the tribulations we face in life and how we can be more than we think. Great read

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I also purchased a copy. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I read it in one sitting. The characters were believable and the plot was interesting. Edmund and Jade both had painful pasts. What I really enjoyed is that there was open communication between them. Their pasts were discussed and overcome. I could really see the chemistry between the two of them right from the beginning. There was a scene when Edmund had dinner with his sister and her boyfriend that was a little disappointing to me about Edmund but because the book had a dual POV format, I was able to completely understand where he was coming from. While I may not agree with his opinion again at least I understood him better. I really have to go back to read the first book in this series to meet Edmund's sister and Jade's best friend get together. It sounded really good. I do recommend this book to anyone over the age of 18.

Loved the characters. Sometimes it jumped around a bit too much but overall a very good book!

I gave it 3 1/2 stars. It held my interest for the most part. Unrealistic in parts and the ending was strange.

This book is filled with drama. An innocent conversation at the beginning comes into play at the end that puts pieces of the puzzle together. Two broken people learn to love each other and this love makes them whole.
