5By HmdenegWow! This book was so good! One thing I loved about this book was all the non stop action. No filler pages of useless dialogue. You never knew what was going to happen next and usually what I thought would happen didn’t. Definitely a page turner as I read it in two days. The only thing I didn’t like about the book was the sister. She was super annoying and several times I wanted to smack her and tell her to shut her mouth. I wanted Indy to stand up to her several times and she didn’t. But I still give it 5 stars! And Indy cracked me up....Release the Kraken!!! Love it!A must read!

1By ReneelovesfashionI had high hopes for this book, given the synopsis, but honestly the book was slow all the way through and the reviews tricked me into actually spending money on this book. The chemistry between both characters never hit the mark and the sister just felt “in the way” ... her so called comic relief was pretty much annoying and in the wrong places. Like seriously, if you’re going to make us wait for a sensual scene all the way toward the END of the book March, at least give them privacy. Seriously??? Was the sisters joke necessary in the middle of what should’ve been a perfect moment for the two? That was such a turn off! Actually the whole book was a turn off. I’m surprised I got as far as I did but I think I wanted to at least give it the benefit of the doubt and get my money’s worth ... I still cared nothing about how it would end in book one. I will not be buying the rest. 1 star only because there’s no lesser star! It’s in the negative for me and I’m not hard to please with romance so it says a lot. Complete waste of 4 hours of my life that I cannot get back! Eye roll!Decent read
4By Rinny1129Reading the description and all the reviews, I literally thought this was going to be a Nexflix Lucifer type of read and Forge would actually be the devil. Not the case. My own fault for projecting a supernatural theme on this novel. The bear wants what the heat wants. The first book kept me intrigued until the cliffhanger and of course I had to buy the second book. Novels in the first person tend to annoy me. Happy to report that it only annoyed me about 20% of the time I was reading this.Loved it!!

5By Ashel05One thing you can count on early on into a Meghan March series, sometimes down is up and up is down. Who’s the prince on the white horse and who is carrying the poison Apple! This book is no different!! I seriously love Forge though. I love her writing that is his thought process. Genius. I adore Indy, and one of my favs is her think one thing then followed by that was a lie. This story begins in Ibiza at a private high stakes poker game. And ends on a boat dock on a humdinger of a cliffhanger. Dealing with debt owed to save a life, intrigue, a very hot hero(?) and heroine and the requisite wait maybe ____ is the good guy and _____ is not... Phenomenal dialogue. Ingenious writing & plot Heat. Did I mention. *bites fist * heat?? Ps: thank you Serena for the bites fist reference point on another review. I highly recommend. And one step further read every single thing by ms March. She’s 5-kinds of awesome.Breathless and on edge!
