Shocked to be matched to her father's home world of Everis, she transports, expecting to find an eager mate waiting for her. Instead, she arrives within a secret Hive integration center to find him resisting a merciless enemy.

Elite Hunter Quinn might have been captured by the Hive, but he'll sacrifice anything to save the mate he never expected... never imagined would appear like an angel in the middle of hell. A warrior in her own right, Niobe's too stubborn to leave him behind. And even if they escape the Hive, their personal scars run deep. Battle and bloodshed are easy. But healing a wounded warrior's heart? That may prove impossible.

Hunted (Interstellar Brides Book 17)- Grace Goodwin The Interstellar Brides Series is amazing and each new book brings fresh stories, new awesome characters and amazing action, hot romance. The world building for this whole series is just mesmerizing, especially with the multitude of planets, spacecraft, battleships, while remaining true to the many different types of aliens (males) , their attributes and customs. I really applaud the author for having a heroine who was not only a bit older but also held one of the highest positions in the “Coalition”. She is also half Evarian, the race known as “Elite Hunters”. I love this race , their independence from the coalition and their amazing talents. The males are very sexy very alpha not just huge strong warriors. Admiral Niobe finally takes the Bride Matching Test after her friends plead with her during a girls weekend. She finds herself mated to Elite Hunter Quinn but is transported into a trap from the Hive. With the war with the Hive continuing to go on as part of the series and server all recurring characters from previous books each additional storyline continues to engulf the reader more and more into these worlds. It was also special to see the acceptance of Niobe’s professional career and her need to continue to serve as admiral, not to just settle down and have babies with her new mate. Her mate, Quinn goes beyond what an Elite Hunter would do to make sure they can be together and have a fulfilling HEA.

Both The h & H were strong personalities without being Overbearing, controlling or obnoxious! Love scenes were there but not the main focus. As with all Grace Goodwin’s books, good story structure, no gaps in plot, logical but not predictable. All in all....I enjoyed this book and would recommend. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Love this series of books as they are action packed, entertaining and have the findings of newly mated/matched couples. This particular story revolves around Quinn and Niobe and the trials they endure while coming to terms with being mated. At their first meeting Niobe saves Quinn from being integrated by Nexus before knowing he is her mate. Quinn a Hunter, and Niobe a Vice Admiral, are having issues with how their mating is affecting their careers along with the continued threat of the Hive, which is a constant in each book. There are struggles between the separate designations of job/duty versus mate but a final solution is found. This is a well written story with great characters and plots. It is also a great series and I would highly recommend each story as they are great stand alone books but at they same time they are still part of a series. I would highly recomnend this book as a great read.
