Caught by the Ripper

Evil hides behind a smile. 
 
After his family died, a broken detective gave up on trying to save anyone, but when a desperate woman begs him to find her missing daughter, he can't say no. 
 
She was last seen working for a mysterious new arrival to the city, a young doctor with almost supernatural charisma. His charm allows him to open several successful businesses, but young women that work for him disappear. There's a killer on the loose, and the young doctor knows more than he's letting on. 
 
With the World's Fair starting, tourists from all over the world are flocking to the city, and the killer has his choice of unsuspecting victims. Only one man can figure out what's going on before anyone else is hurt, and he'll have to use his own hidden abilities if he wants to make it out alive.
