5By MaggCotterThis would be my first read of such a particular niche, but the story was very compelling. The characters were well developed and consistent, and the very different perspectives of the protagonists and lovers was entertaining. So so
3By Lavone116Some of the scenarios were a little annoying but it was an ok read.Enough to finish
3By rnp3575I enjoyed the book and characters, but I also didn’t understand what time period it was. The front cover looks like new times, but the wording and family rules suggested another era. I am not sure.Hardly wicked
2By Jnelle87This book was a convoluted mess. Multiple story lines, so much back and forth and way too many who dunnit, you dunnit, we dunnit, etc etc. The main characters hardly knew each other before falling all over reach other and were written more like adolescence than adults. Everyone in this book was dramatically over emotional. A headache at best, a waste of time at worse.5 stars
5By NewEarthorBustThe characters were distinctive, and interesting. Author managed to give depth to even several supporting characters. Gothic touches were just the right amount of campy to be fun. Absolutely loved the descriptions of the house where most of story was set!Loved it
5By Bmarts27Loved these main characters!
