Description
History. Reality. Fantasy. All rolled into one zany family.
If Justine Hale had the time, she'd get in her car and go crazy. She owns two kids, an ex-mother-in-law, and a bankrupt mother. Money scarce, she moves her entire family into a run-down, two-hundred-year-old farmhouse.
Resident ghost Lottie Roberts offers to help. She’s bossy, but she cooks. So what if she’s betwixt and between? After all, it's her house. Before Lottie can intervene, though, Tucker Highsmith steals her thunder with his sexy grin, lazy Alabama drawl, and Mr. Fix-it talent.
Plagued with the demands of her family, Justine dismisses ghost and handyman alike. But hidden agendas prevail, and Justine is caught in the middle.

2By lleyondNice storyline but, the authors unnecessary use of big words. Sesquipedalian if you will. The House on Persimmon Road
3By enj0yl!f3While I liked the story idea, in my opinion, the book failed on execution. It seemed too dense in terms of establishing characters and daily interactions and way to light on the resolution of the plot line. There were situations and banter that made me laugh and situations that reminded me of every day life but, in the end, this was only a generous 3 star read for me.Full of wit and characters!
5By sro!I loved the characters and their sharp dialogue back and forth. Each one’s personality is so vivid and “Alive”...you’ll understand the quotation marks when you read the book. 😉 Funny, clever, and and a joy to read!
