Description
**Now a USA Today Bestseller!**
The last twenty-five years have been all about her kids. But this summer is all about Jen.
Now that her boys are grown and on their own, widow Jen Watson is looking forward to having a whole summer at the family beach house all to herself--and her two lifelong best friends. After all the summers at her beloved grandmother's house with her boys—teaching them to swim, building sandcastles and having frozen bananas at the Fun Zone—it's finally her turn to make new memories of her own.
After all these years, it's no secret that the house her grandmother left to Jen, her father and brother needs more than a little TLC. Jen and her lifelong best friends are up for the job—there'll be plenty of time for it between long walks on the beach, watching spectacular sunsets during happy hours on the deck and wiggling their toes in the sand.
When her family balks at spending any money on the house and finds out what the property is really worth, all their plans change.
But Jen and her friends are willing to do just about anything to protect Nana's memories—and create even more, no matter what it takes.
Cozy up for this heart-warming series, where the bonds of friends and family run deep.

5By Mary Ward TaylorMy husband‘s parents lived on Balboa Island for the last 40 years of their lives. Newport Beach is indeed a special place.Visiting there was always a treat, and reading this book brought back many memories. Although the plot may have its weak areas with unanswered questions, it was pleasant reading and I enjoyed it.Wonderful book
5By 1 BankerThis book was like a warm hug from old friends, hot chocolate by a cozy fire, or the sweet smell of a baby’s head. I hated for it to end. The real world was waiting & I wasn’t ready to rejoin it. I urge you to get this book & spend an afternoon with new, old friends.
