Description

There's only ever been one woman for him. The problem?
She's never believed in love and she's not about to start now.

Sexy, over confident and way too cocky for his own good, Logan Langdon doesn’t know when to take no for an answer. Not when it comes to Faith Turner. He’s had his heart set on her as long as he can remember.

The only problem? Despite owning the most sought-after wedding venue around, Faith doesn’t believe in love, never has.

The solution is simple…he'll just have to convince her that what he feels is real. And if the heat between them is any indication, it won’t be long before Faith agrees. She can keep fighting it, but eventually she’ll have to see her own happily ever after is hers for the taking, or walk away forever.

After having read about Faith and Logan in Ms. Aitken’s previous books, I had very high expectations for their story!!! I was so happy when I finished reading this because not only did Ms. Aitken meet my expectations, she exceeded them. I felt like I knew this couple and I found myself laughing and crying with them. At times I felt like smacking Logan at the back of his head like you’d do for a buddy and at times I felt like shaking Faith by the shoulders for being strong headed. But I lived and loved their story!!! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Ricin2

Spontaneous Combustion! These two are on fire! You can feel the tension and the sparks between these two. These are the kind of books I love. Logan loves to tease her and he has loved her for a long time but will he admit it to himself? Faith doesn’t believe in love due to a bad childhood memory. A handsome man and putting on “appearances” can change even the worse cynic. Faith and Logan are mistakenly taken by a high profile bride and because she thinks they are a wonderful couple, she may want her wedding there. In order to win this business prospect, they pretend to love each other. Logan takes advantage of this and when he’s not teasing her incessantly, he’s wooing her “for the sake of the business.” Faith resists him at every turn, but the more she resists the more she is drawn in by not only his charm, but the town’s and the team he and the people. Will they end up fighting for forever? There definitely is a wedding, and in true Elena fashion, she alludes to an additional surprise.....could it be in the next book? We have to wait and see. Definitely gave this book several thumbs up!!! I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Logan Langdon doesn’t understand or the word ”NO”, especially when Faith Turner is involved. They have known each other forever and always had a feisty relationship as children and adults. Faith doesn’t and never has believed in “love” for many of her own private reasons. She came back home to help out her newly married sister, who is dealing with health concerns. Logan is hired to help Faith with the wedding venue in her sister’s absence. Logan has always pushed the “wrong buttons” with Faith and she just wants him to stop. This is an amazing storyline evolving her sister, a celebrity wedding client, and family relationships. There is a long ago secret that Faith has never disclosed holding her back for her life and it holds the major key to involve all their lives if she finally discloses it. The emotional relationship between the families and friends is felt by the reader and hard to contain. Excellent storyline, characters, and family connections make for a heartwarming, emotional book! We return to Glacier Falls and get to see why Logan and Faith are pretending to be in a relationship, in hopes that Stephanie Starz will have the wedding of the century at Ever After Ranch. I just love this series! In this story, secrets are revealed and we get a better understanding of why Faith is so jaded about happily ever afters. I won’t leave any spoilers, so grab your copy and see what happens. You won’t be disappointed, if you love reading about family, friends, steamy scenes, and unexpected revelations. I loved the ending and I’m patiently waiting for the next book to see what happens next. Yes, this book can be read as a standalone story, but you really should read all the books for the entire Ever After Ranch experience. Newest in this series. Much drama, angst, steam and romance. This did end with a small twist and a new character, so possibly a new book coming? There is of course the requisite HEA. A good beach read.

I think I’ve been waiting for Logan and Faith’s story since this series began! I really wanted Faith and her disbelief in love and a happily ever after to be proven wrong, and knew Logan was the one to do it. So while I very much enjoyed the book, I was slightly disappointed in the distraction of another storyline that ran parallel. Many books feature other couples, secrets or issues in addition to the main couple...I know this from being a fan of the genre. Personally, I didn’t want anything taking time away from Logan and Faith, but it’s the nature of the beast and it was obvious that Ms. Aitken was gearing up for the next book in the series (yay!!) I loved, it, though, and thought my favorite couple received a wonderful, emotional HEA. And in the end, that’s exactly why I read and love romance.
