3By Pdb443.5 Stars. Not quite what I was expecting. A little disappointed. Not that it was a bad story, just different. I was happy to see Bear there. Love him. So grumpy. I found the story very repetitive as well. Kidnapped, rescued, kidnapped, rescued. Karma and Benny were a good match. I didn’t like her initially, but began to understand her reasons. A little insight into Hope, Pax and Drake’s story. They are 16 now. Hope is completely naive. Which surprises me with all the smart, strong beings around her. Of course she’s sheltered. I’m hoping she will mature in the coming years. Pax will definitely be there. Vero will be interesting. Terre’s vanquishing was too quick and tidy, although unexpected. I did love the HEA. On to Sam’s story.So good!!
5By ~Mindy Lou~When you have been following along in this series for so long, it's hard not to get excited when it's time for a side character to get his story. Benny is one of those side characters that I just couldn't wait to see how things would go. His crazy character has always had me laughing and I'm so glad to see that he stayed true to who he is in Rebel's Karma. Despite not wanting to put Karma in harms way with his life, he still showed how much he wanted her in his life. I really loved that. Karma was an easy heroine to love. She has spent centuries with the Kurjans. It made her cautious but never took her bravery away. She always had someone to fight for given the Kurjan's steal enhanced women all the time and you can see that was what gave her purpose. She has a huge heart and I loved getting to see her protective side when it came to the twin girls she was desperate to protect. It also helps that she has a really cool ability. I feel like we are gearing up to the end and I'm excited because I can't wait to see how this all ends but I'm also going to be very sad. I've loved this series so much that I think I could read about them forever. If you enjoy paranormal romance, this is one series you should definitely check out!Benny’s story
4By Sandyn461I have so enjoyed each book in this series! Benny is a bit complex. Benny hides his serious side behind laughter. Thinking he will never mate, that all changes with Karma. Twists and turns and lots of steam. Kind of a slow burn with the romance. A mother will do anything for her children. Benny and Karma overcome a lot to find their HEA.
