4By avenue457i really loved the first book, but the second one kinda ruined it for me because all of the relationships were switched around and stuff. this one made me feel a lot better about the series though, and i desperately need book 4 after that ending!! i loved all the new characters that beatrice met, and nina and daphne working together and becoming kinda sorta friends was so fun to read. i also really liked how sam and marshall were having all of the important discussions about their future, and i love that the author included commentary about racism, sexism, etc. and integrated it so well with the plot. loses 1 star because i feel like everything happened pretty fast towards the end, but hopefully book 4 can tie that up!She did it again!
5By Lfinley3This series just keeps getting better! I came across the first book by chance not expecting much either way. I was pleasantly surprised and by the second book I was in love with this world and it’s characters! I can NOT wait for the next book. I could see this being a continuous series because these characters would never run out of stories. I hope I’m right because I’d be very happy to follow them for a very long time. Thank you for another great read!
