A pretty solid read. It’s clear she has matured more in this book. I appreciate reading about the growth.

She let a few secrets out BUT I think the shade she got from her first book really made her critical of what she wrote this time around. It was definitely a 3 out of 5 but it could've been better!
  • Appreciate the Honesty, but Needs More Insight

As I was reading this book, I couldn't help but feel worried for her sanity. I have read this one, confessions of a video vixen, and how to love a Martian and it seems like she feels lost without a man in her life. My goodness, I pray for her for she claims she is okay on her own but she goes out and tries to find security in any man that comes her way. She's very judge-y with each person she comes across, and that made me feel uncomfortable. I feel like she is using names to lift her higher up on the celebrity pedestal. Goodness gracious girl. Talk about freeloading off of other's success.

This book wasn't as juicy as the first book. It seemed as if Karrine matured since the last book which I can appreciate, however, I still would've wanted some jaw dropping stories to keep my attention. I also think the chapters are too short. It's like 7 pages per chapter often wondered why her book was formatted like that. I want to read the first one again just for the shock value!
  • Very Enjoyable Read!

Despite the way, Karrine Stephans has made the 'it girl' name for herself... The honesty, rawness, and emotion has made the book a wonderful read that I couldn't put down for two days. In several hours, I went from a cynical skeptic who felt like 'Supahead' was some pathetic girl who was just looking for a dollar.... to a empathic sister girlfriend who feels the pain of a 'almost defeated' woman who did what she needed to do to survive. Yes, all of it could be complete and utter b$&sh@! ...but Hey the reading journey was a memorable one.

So I don't really anow where to start; of course I was reading this book as a follow-up to Confessions as every other reader was. I, ain no way, felt that this book would compare and of course it lived up to my expectations. There was a lot of redundancy and a plight to try and expose herself as a "simple woman", however it was not successful. I found myself fighting between what she wanted to as and who she really was in ts book. There was little mention of her son and how she has taken care of him, and way too many men still running in and out of her life. Granted, this is my opinion and it doesn't really mean much, but I think there is a lot more to this story and some gas that need to be filled. The best portion was her letter to Papa in which she revealed who he was which is astonishing to say the least. I would have never guessed it was Method Man and I'm still shocked. I will continue to read any books she releases, I expect great things from her.
