2By Clone meI've read Mystic River, Shutter island and I was looking forward to reading another book by Lehane. The book is written in first person and the vocabulary was totally out of character for the two main characters in the book. The writing reminded me of an eighth grade student who was learning to use a thesaurus for the first time. The plot is weak and predictable. It's a stretch to connect the two stories. I was totally disappointed.
