Reviews
Romantic comedy adventure
4By Leica1991The book reminded me a bit like the movie The Mummy. It was fun and witty, with adventure and few saucy moments. Good read. The main female character was mildly self-pitying but it didn’t bother me enough to put it down, Love the mongoose, you go Marigold!Funny Regency romp
5By OWhyYYThis is an enjoyable jaunt through Egypt with a charming hero, dastardly villains and a brilliant tho naive heiress.Exciting different
5By lite it upDaphne and Rupert are such an interesting match up. And on top of that the Egyptian location is so different and fascinating compared to the usual British locale. At last Rupert met his match and what a delightful blue stocking she was.Mr. Wonderful

5By JetskiKHaving just returned from my own trip on the Nile it was great fun to read a romance that traced my journey. Many of the historic people and sites are noted. And the adventurous heroine and handsome, amusing hero make the story so enjoyable. Even if you haven't personally visited Egypt, you will enjoy this tale.Irresistible
5By Airedales4everAdventure, excitement, danger, exotic locales, romance, history, interesting detail, great primary & secondary characters with endearing quirks; this book was a joy to read, I loved every bit of it. I want to read every one of Loretta Chase’s novels now, and I will enjoy rereading Mr. Impossible again in future.Exciting and romantic
4By SundoraThe characters & plot of this book were entertaining. The setting in Egypt was interesting. I give it four stars only because of the excessive verbiage describing the female character's physical reactions to being near the main character and her incessant discussion of how boring she was. Love the ending.Fun and Exciting!
5By LindashleyThis is a good story with lots of "Indiana Jones" style adventures. It was fun to see the development of the romance as the heroine realizes that the hero is not "dumb as an ox" and, even better, that he appreciates her intelligence. I would have liked a longer epilogue about their return to England.
