Description
In the future, in a place called Satelite City, fourteen-year-old Cosmo Hill enters the world, unwanted by his parents. He's sent to the Clarissa Frayne Institute for Parentally Challenged Boys, Freight class. At Clarissa Frayne, the boys are put to work by the state, testing highly dangerous products. At the end of most days, they are covered with burns, bruises, and sores. Cosmo realizes that if he doesn't escape, he will die at this so-called orphanage. When the moment finally comes, Cosmo seizes his chance and breaks out with the help of the Supernaturalists, a motley crew of kids who all have the same special ability as Cosmo-they can see supernatural Parasites, creatures that feed on the life force of humans.

Thank you eoin colfer
5By AJlovesjesusAn excellent story I would recommend to anyone. I read this paperback when I was younger and had to re-read on my iPad. Lovable characters and good pacing make this a good choice for adolescents to young adults. Mature themes are touched upon while still maintaining a fun, smart, and wonderful atmosphere! The supernaturalist

5By Zeke888I loved this book mr colfer. I did physically buy this book when I was younger. But I lost it and now I've finished the one on my iPhone thank you. And if u can write a sequel, that would be great!First required book I have loved in a long time!
5By Techwiz5400This is one of the first required books I have had to read for English class that I have actually enjoyed in a long time! Usually books for English class can be boring, therefore I never really finish them. But "The Supernaturalists" had an excellent combination of humor, action, and adventure that I stayed interested in it until the very end! I just hope the rumors about the sequel are true, because I really want to continue on reading about this group of adventurers! I also highly recommend the audiobook as a companion to the text, as the narrator puts an additional level of feeling into the book, if you know what I mean, because I almost cried at a certain part of the book! (I'm not going to spoil the book for anyone, so you will know the part when you read it.) All around, anyone looking for a good sense of action, adventure, and some comedy, too, or just any English teacher trying to keep his/her class entertained and interested, should definitely read this book! 😃Awesome
