Description
“Robbins’s comic philosophical musings reveal a flamboyant genius.”—People
Still Life with Woodpecker is a sort of a love story that takes place inside a pack of Camel cigarettes. It reveals the purpose of the moon, explains the difference between criminals and outlaws, examines the conflict between social activism and romantic individualism, and paints a portrait of contemporary society that includes powerful Arabs, exiled royalty, and pregnant cheerleaders. It also deals with the problem of redheads.

So talented Tom
5By Peacelilly37I love his style, I lived in the northwest / seattle, portland area . His books create the same feeling as spending a week hiking around the cascades. Smelling pine trees and spending time discovering who you are. Still life with woodpecker was the 1st book I discovered.Still life with woodpecker

5By ZabbaduAs I make my way through all Tom's books, I'm constantly reminded of just how silly this planet is. I thank him for all the wild exploits and truths he dumps at the doorstep of my mind. THANKS TOM! Keep up the writing .. It's been far too long!
