Also missing is the investment in his characters - major and minor - that Mr Kellerman made in his earlier novels. As such, at the conclusion, one is left wondering how the events described could have taken such an emotional toll on the characters despite having so little impact on the reader.Victims

1By osavageI'm a long-time fan of the Alex Delaware series. The last several--including this one--have been disappointing. The dialog is oftentimes inane and the plots are predictable. I kept hoping Kellerman would quit phoning it in, but, alas, Victims is another mediocre effort. I'm taking this author off of my must-read list.Will not download
