This novella was the best I have ever read. It really made me feel Ansel's pain and thoughts. I love him so much now, he is just so.... I can't even describe him, he is so brave. I think he's even braver than Calla. This really REALLY made me hate Calla. What her wrongdoings put Ansel throughout was gut wrenching. I was sobbing frequently!!!! His second dream was OMG!!! it was so sad, this of course made me sob more. Seriously, if you want to understand what happened after Calla left this is the best book out there. When she left she didn't even think about her family! That made me SOOOO mad D: Ansel, I LOVE YOU!!!! he is soooo amazing and I just feel sorrow for him. I think his actions are totally justified. All of his pain was Calla's fault. This also shed some light on REN, who is also suffering. The way he treats Ansel so well made me cry even harder! Personally, I think he cared for Ansel more than Calla, judging by his actions. READ THIS, ITS TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! It is advised you read this in a corner in the dark at night so no one can hear you sobbing your heart out. Plus, it really helps the mood of despair and torment in this novel ;) In all seriousness, however, read this if you, like me, are desperately in love with the Nightshade series. This has to be the most moving book I have ever read. It made me question everything, including Calla. You have been warned, this book is AMAZING but the saddest thing ever and if you hate Calla after this, JOIN THE CLUB. BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE A HEART P.S. I freaking love you so much Ansel and I totally feel your pain!
