I enjoyed the character development of Beatrice based on her experiences in book 1, as well as learning more about things I was wondering about. Gio & B have some history & baggage to deal with. Introduction of new characters like Dez, Don Ernesto & Ben & some allies was interesting as well. Lorenzo continues to be up to something sneaky, will we find out what?Really enjoying this series

5By Tirrrttt!I find this series to be incredibly smart and well-written and thought out in detail. The author has created a unique spin on the vampire genre and has tied each book together expertly, ending each story but laying clues to what lies ahead. These are books I would pay full price for and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an intelligent, supernatural romance. I like my stories to make sense, and this author has done her research! It's not just a romance, but has mystery and intrigue interwoven in, in a logical and believable way.Finally an original vampire story!!!
5By Tazman1116Long before Twilight was all the rage I have been a vampire fan. Anne Rice is one of my favorite authors and I have been long searching for others like her. I will rarely pay for books online and choose authors who offer one book free to see if the writing style they offer is something I am interested in. I have found several including Joleene Naylor, A.M. Hudson and others. All of the stories have the romance aspect and are well written, but this particular set of books are extremely different. There is a mystery/intrigue aspect to them that I found fascinating and which also made them very hard to put down. You should be very proud of this series as it is becoming increasingly difficult to come up with an original vampire story. If you are looking for a different type of vampire and a science aspect with intrigue, look no further!
