Description
Veronica Cruz has been through hell and back. After disconnecting with the world two years ago to be at the side of her dying mother, she’s left alone, unemployed, overweight, and feeling a decade older than her twenty-eight years. When her best friend coaxes her into joining the local gym to ditch her depression and rejuvenate her life, she meets Noah. Assigned to help Veronica lose weight, Noah is everything she expected a young trainer to be—perfectly chiseled, supportive and motivating. Add to that, he’s incredibly sexy. He’s everything she’s ever looked for in a man. What she least expected was for him to fall for her, but he has. There's just one glaring problem: Noah is eight years younger.
Noah Quintanilla has his eye on a boxing title—someday. Down for a few months with an injury, his maintenance-boy pay at 5th Street Gym won't cut it. He’s finally given the opportunity to train. The catch? His trainee is an out-of-shape woman with a free week pass. Taking on the challenge, Noah stumbles into one of the closest friendships he’s ever known, and before he knows it, he’s in love. But Veronica’s not having it—the age difference is too much. Their platonic relationship means having to watch her date other men—something that would make him crazy. Believing he's the man for her, Noah sets out to prove that age is but an illusion, and there's more to him than just a number.

2By Avidreader❤️I hate not finishing a book. I didn’t think I’d ever get through this one! It felt so drawn out and repetitive. The characters and plot had potential but were just plain boring. Don’t start it if you’re like me and have to finish a book regardless if it’s good or not. Not even going to attempt the next in the series.. Bummer 👎🏼Noah
5By Miriam OnadekoNoah and Veronica’s story was an exciting storyline and t had trouble putting it down. I could no wait to finish dinner and eat to get back to reading about them. Loved it an it is a page turner. Hope everyone gets to read it.Horrible
1By Father FoundI'm glad this was free. The supposedly 28 year old heroine acted like she was 13. I thought the premise sounded promising, but it was not, at least to the fact I couldn't get past the juvenile behavior of Veronica. Did not even get through half of this book.Omg!
5By QueenOfAthethsTwo days was all it took. Once you read the first chapter you're hooked! Amazing amazing amazing!!! I absolutely loved itVeronica 🙄
3By Bookworming itThis story wasn't bad, I felt myself really rooting for Noah. I do have a few dislikes about the book. 1. The author made it seem like Veronica was so fat and disgusting at 167 lbs. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Get a grip. 2. What 28 year old doesn't know what an iPhone can do? I mean it really felt like the author was trying to make the age gap a bigger issue than what it really was. Veronica or "Roni" really irritated me at times too with how wishy washy she was being. But all in all I enjoyed the quick read.Mrs.starree
5By Tanvir101I loved this book and I'm so happy that I came across it. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!! Downloading them now ;-)Noah
4By lovejess1Noah is extremely moral and has a lot of integrity. Which is sexy as it is but mixed with his possessive nature and fierce loyalty, he became the dream man for any woman. Roni was sweet and like-able. Great great read!5th street: Noah
4By Cfp9598I enjoyed reading the first book in the 5th Street set. It was a book I couldn't put down until its completion due to the mystery of what would happen next with each set of characters. I definitely plan to read all about Gio!Ugh
