Adeptus Astartes
5By ZathriThis was a great read, my opinion may be a bit biased due to my love of the 40k setting on its own but her is no doubt that the author has real talent. Some wonderful descriptive writing and a truly engaging story I think anyone could enjoy. But even better if you already have an interest or passion for the adeptus astartes or even just the 40k setting this book will not disappoint.Dissappointed
2By savanusThe story began strong then descended into a convoluted mess. I expect more from warhammer 40k authors.Excellent
5By GraybrainThis book was much better than expected. The Space Marines were much more human than they are usually written as and that vulnerability made them more interesting. Despite that the book stays true to the essential drama of the Warhammer 40K universe: the quest to protect humankind is so difficult that it leaves little place for humanity. The Space Marine Battles books have had uneven quality but the last few have been good and this one is a winner.
