Mephiston represents hope for the Blood Angels Chapter: the only warrior to face the Black Rage and emerge from the other side. At the same time, he is a terrifying figure, the very embodiment of death. Perhaps no character better represents the twin aspects of the Blood Angels than Mephiston.
