Ending Rushed, Hard to suspend disbelief
3By ACPhotogarphyI reread this in anticipation of Munro coming out in a few months. Some of the scenes and dialogue really pulled me out of the moment. Overall I enjoyed the book but it didn’t give me the same satisfaction as others in the IAD series. [Spoilers below] The characters are hard to like and the relationship is abusive on its face. But if you can get past all that, there’s an intriguing story about healing and forgiveness and prejudice. I’ve waited 7 years for the cliffhanger ending to continue and I’m hoping I like Munro’s story more but I’m having my doubts as these MacReive men seem to have issues with consent.A bit redundant and slow

I wish Ms Cole had forgone all these stories of side characters when other main characters haven't had their stories? 18 books and yet no end or real start to The Accession aside from the compound fight on the island. These stories are all the same basically and kind of becoming boring. Let's wrap it up Ms. Cole!!Always amazing

3By Clare-BunnyThis was probably my least favorite of all the IAD books. It was the first time I've finished one of Kresley Coles books and thought "Meh." There were some good parts - it starts out very exciting. But after that it just seems to lose steam. And the soccer puns and references were wayyyy overdone and pretty cheesy.What is the next book?!?!

5By JasnbI could not put it down, I kept wanting Will to overcome his hate but understanding at the same time why he was the way he was. I also wanted Chloe to fight for him regardless and she never disappoints. Awesome ending, but now I can't wait for Munro's story.
