Understanding the story requires understanding the historical context in the story. Great read and easy to read too. Wouldn’t recommend if it’s your first Hemingway novel though.

The details of the characters, places, and dialog made me feel like I was right there and listening from the table nearby and I saw all the vivid colors and places, along with feeling the emotions.
