Taking the Job

A zero fraternization policy. An attractive new boss. And a girl who isn’t afraid to break the rules.
To be fair, I probably shouldn’t have lied about my identity when I first ran into Derrick. But it’s not like I thought I’d ever see him again.
Now he’s my new boss who’s made it clear he doesn’t date employees.
Which would normally be fine if our chemistry wasn’t off the charts.
And I’m not the only one who sees it.
Even his best friend can tell we belong together, which is why he offered to fake date me in hopes of pushing Derrick over the edge.
And the crazy part?
I think it might actually work.
