Connected

As much as they make me crazy, I do love me some cliffhangers and plot twists. And boy did Kim Karr deliver those! They're exactly the reason why Connected is such an emotional roller coaster of a read. There's a lot of romance but a good amount of mystery and suspense as well. Which came as a surprise, but I thoroughly enjoyed it! Never did I get bored or turned off by an anticlimactic moment. If I wasn't swooning over River Wilde and his relationship with Dahlia, I was intrigued by her past life with her ex. There was always something interesting happening. When I can figure out the plot line or big mystery early on in a book, I don't necessarily hate it, but I do get a little bummed out. Though I was able to put two and two together, that didn't seem to deter my fascination with the story and characters. Kim Karr is a fabulous writer and she does a swell job of drawing the reader in with the simplest words and moments. This book will make you believe in love at first sight. The characters were well developed and the story just took my breath away. I would definitely recommend this to all romance readers; especially ones looking for something a little outside the box. You will devour every single word of this spectacular book.

I fell in love with Dahlia and River. You know your a sucker for a good love story when your reading and you start to cry and everyone around you thinks your crazy because your crying over a book. Thank you for a great story.

I felt like this book was too predictable. River was too unrealistic. I skipped through some of the scenes where he just went on and on and on about his love for her. Not sure I will purchase Torn. I have a feeling I know how it will turn out. I'm pro Ben so I'm not sure it's worth spending my money on.

Great story and characters but the writing at times was not fluid. Wish she would have spent more time on some of the details like when Dahl saw River perform at the Greek. Could've been good. Again the story was great. Different then a lot of the same old stuff that keeps coming out. Good to see some good guys.

So romantic, so sexy, River Wilde is amazing! I loved this book and was surprised by the twist but not sure how I feel about it. I was just hoping for the happy ending.

While the writing had me skimming a bit.. The ending left my mouth agape! Will be waiting on book 2.

I loved this story, the romantic scenes are great but when the story is actually good, it makes spending the time reading it so worth it! The characters are well developed; I always love when we get to read the male's POV to help understand how they think better. Dahlia is a great female role, Anxiously waiting for book 2! :D

All I have to say is that is one hell of a twist! I didn't see it coming. I cannot wait for the second book!
