Two weeks before Christmas, I lose my job and my apartment in London. Now my best friend's no-good cheating boyfriend has left her with a non-refundable plane ticket she can't afford.

So I do what any good friend would do and use my redundancy payout to buy Shona's ticket and board a flight to Australia, where I plan to forget that Christmas even exists. Except I soon discover that the festive spirit is alive and well in beachside Sydney—only it looks completely different.

When I receive an unexpected invitation to Christmas lunch from a gorgeous surfer guy I keep bumping into, I'm tempted. But I'd be mad to have a fling with a single father like Jaz who has enough personal baggage to make my oversized suitcase feel feather light.

Then again, holiday romances aren't supposed to last…are they?
