Description

A killer pie. A meddling ex. One sassy cat who smells trouble.

Maddie never expected to win the apple pie contest and trip over her friend's body at the Spring Festival. Now, thanks to a trail of suspicious evidence, she's the prime suspect.

With the clock ticking and the sheriff's department breathing down her neck—led by her infuriatingly handsome ex—Maddie must clear her name before she's serving time instead of pie.

Good thing she's got her ride-or-die friends, a tight-knit small-town squad, and a whisk-wielding determination. Add in one sharp-eyed, sassy cat who's always underfoot, and Maddie's on a recipe for uncovering secrets someone desperately wants to keep buried.

But the deeper she digs, the more danger bubbles to the surface… and the next victim could be her.

If you love Murder, She Wrote and culinary cozies sprinkled with humor, heart, and a dash of danger, you'll devour the Maple Lane Mysteries.

Nice job with characters. Plot was good, but it is annoying when the lead character acts dumb. It was nice that the other characters compensated for each other’s behaviors & knowledge deficit.

I don’t like Virginia and I’m worried about Big Red though.
