Fannie Flagg is a universal treasure! Her stories never fail to bring tears and laughter to the reader, and “The All-Girl Filling Station’s Last Reunion” is no exception. I’ve now devoured at least four of her novels, and she somehow manages to leave me with a feeling of belonging and fulfillment every time. She has shared her humor and humanity with us: what more can we ask.

A great read about a woman coming to understand, love, and fully enjoy her dysfunctional life and family. Even finding one she didn't know she had, but choosing to embrace it & let it enrich her life. We all should choose to be so loving to ourselves. I highly recommend!

I loved this heart-warming, well-written book from first to last page. It’s easy to read and to identify with the characters. The history regarding the WASPs/WWII was fascinating. If you enjoy reading historical fiction with a lot of fluff and humor, I highly recommend it. Great book for a weekend or a day at the pool or beach.

I love Fannie Flagg! This book will hopefully be made into a movie. I certainly begs to be. As a southerner, I always appreciate the author's perspective.

Absolutely loved it. Fanny has away with creating the most interesting characters. Also I like the fact that she shares this part of women's flight history that you seldom read or hear about. Well done. Can hardly wait for the next one.

What a delight this was. I was caught a few times laughing out loud while reading at a restaurant I go to each morning alone. I wish there was a sequel, I didn't want it to end

Ms. Flag has the ability to tell a story and define her characters so well it is like they are all in the room with the reader. This book corrected a horrible historical slight: the incredible role woman pilots had in WW2. & their contributions & sacrifices. As I read more deeply in the book I felt cheated having never heard of the women who served in the WASPS. Hopefully the book will bring new awareness & Praise for these women -forgotten heroes.
