3By Padfoot 45I liked the story overall EXCEPT, story seems to borrow heavily from previous stories and the ending left no closure. Seemed more like the author ran out of time and just stopped without tying up several plots.Awesome book

4By Sister Mary ClarenceI absolutely love the passion Violet and Xaden have for each other. She’s so smart and he’s so strong. The perfect power couple! But…I am worried for Xaden. This book started off slow with all the research Violet was doing. There’s some excitement when she travels to different isles in the book. I still don’t understand why her and her squad have to go back to “class” when the kingdom has been saved on multiple occasions because of her. I went through a lot of emotions in this book. I laughed, cried, got real angry at some parts. I do love Ridoc, Rhi, Sawyer, & Violet. They are The Fearsome Foursome! I give it a 4 Star because I didn’t like the ending. I think some parts couldve been taken out in the beginning to give us a better ending. The cliffhanger was a mental blow.Underwhelming
2By FakeApp300I agree this book was exciting, thrilling, and all the other kudos. I don’t agree this is the best of the series. Far too many new characters on both the flyers side and riders side. Despite what some reviewers said these folks were NOT in the other books. Way too many new characters that don’t move the story. I loved having more details on the dragons, various locations, and the culture of those locations. For V, X, and the other main characters, loved seeing them evolve even more. I can see the ground work being laid down for the Venin leader. I think I know who this is. Towards the end it’s less subtle. 😉 I agree strongly that this book feels disjointed compared to the first two books and was much longer than needed to be. I hope the author doesn’t go for the money grab and drag the series along, but instead stays in the space that led to the creation of this series that I fell in love with.She does it again…
