    This was a tough read for me personally, especially having finished this almost year to date where myself, my wife and our best friend had a FaceTime together to mourn the election. Where I was in the kitchen prepping a Cornish game hen because, “that’s what Kamala would want!” It was later the next day, several shattered plates where smashed outside my patio out of how painful that election was. Where her campaign made me feel hope again, joy again. Only for that to look like the remains of plates and cups smashed outside. But it was some days later, sweeping up those shattered hopes and dreams, trying to not think about the futures of my two nieces, did I find the courage to pick up that shattered bit of hope. Clutching it tight in my hand that it could figuratively bleed. A year later, rewatching her concession speech in the background of progressive mayors and governors be elected, propositions to check unchecked balances. Glad I kept onto that hope because when we fight, we will win. And this book has been an incredible reminder of that.

    All I can say after reading 107 Days is that Kamala Harris should never have lost the election to a monster like Trump.

    Former Vice President Kamala D. Harris has penned again another tale of standing in the path of the storm for the sake “of the people.” Her recount of the campaign met my expectations as she fought to introduce herself to others while serving as a living, breathing example of the American exceptionalism we often boast about despite the results of this important election. As a fellow member of the Divine Nine (a blue and white sister), she represented all of us making a difference in our communities whether in politics, law, education, health care, etc. We should forget her historic Vice Presidency at such a chaotic time in our nation. Indeed, she will shine even brighter. {KEP}

    An instantly captivating and joyful read. I was impressed by Kamala’s (and team’s) ability to concisely tell the story of her campaign almost every day since she became the presidential nominee. While I feel worried and troubled regarding the current and future state of the United States, this book instilled in me optimism for the future of our country, despite Kamala Harris not winning the presidential election. Kamala tells her story honestly and beautifully, giving the reader a glimpse into what it must be like to not only be running for our nation’s highest office, but working as the VP simultaneously. Kamala shares the contributing factors and perspectives that made up her campaign and how she maintains optimism for the future. Although the future may appear bleak to some, her voice and narrative remind me that there is always hope for the American Dream, and that it is a fight that although might not be easy, or take a long time to fully realize, that the ideals that our country has always stood for remain possible. I remain optimistic and my faith for a better nation has become stronger because of this book.

    The sadness started seeping into the pit of my stomach. I missed her passion for this country and its people. I missed learning about her thoughts and her beliefs. The more I read the more I kept noticing myself thinking over and over again…. “Please don’t walk away.” Her mind and her heart is exactly what this country needs. There are so many of us that are like minded. We think, see, & feel just as she does. This I know is going to be a book that I will pick up many times and read again and again….and I’ll be waiting, waiting to see the day that she will be standing there, taking the oath of office because all along… that is where she should be.

    A pathetic, excuse-filled whine fest…penned by a vapid empty pantsuit. Should have purchased the actual book and not the online version. It would have saved a week’s worth of toilet paper. 🤡

    Kamala was the first campaign I donated to back in 2020. I truly believed we could do better than that “former president” as a country. We could have had so much under a President Harris admin. Reading this book made me even more disappointed in America. We really had a 10 in blue and picked a 0 in red.
  • Am unafraid and introspective tell-all

    Nearly a day-by-day breakdown of a historic election, Harris pulls back the curtain on one of the closest elections in American history. Through introspective insights detailing the professional yet distanced relationship between her and President Biden, she confesses that in retrospect, perhaps Biden should not have been tasked with deciding between his legacy or the country’s fate—because 107 days simply wasn’t enough time. While Harris defends her decisions, one-third of the electorate didn’t turn out to vote, lending a hand to Nancy Pelosi’s request for a truncated primary. Americans cannot give up hope, she says, but doesn’t see a role to play within the system.

    This book is not for the faint of heart. Some of the revelations are soul-crushing or jarring, but truth is stranger than fiction. This book is very well-written, and if it weren’t for anti-incumbency, who knows what might have been.

    All the things I’d hoped to learn from a historic election, as told by Madam Vice President. Over delivered!
