Description
The New York Times and USA Today bestselling Marked Men series continues with this sizzling, sexy story of love, heartbreak, fate, and second chances.
After the only girl he ever loved told him that he would never be enough, Rowdy St. James knocked the Texas dust off his boots and set out to live up to his nickname. A good ol’ boy looking for good times and good friends, Rowdy refuses to take anything too seriously, especially when it comes to the opposite sex. Burned by love once, he isn’t going to let himself trust a woman again. But that’s before his new co-worker arrives, a ghost from the past who’s suddenly making him question every lesson he ever learned.
Salem Cruz grew up in a house with too many rules and too little fun—a world of unhappiness she couldn’t wait to forget. But one nice thing from childhood has stayed with her; the memory of the sweet, blue-eyed boy next door who’d been head over heels in love with her little sister.
Now, fate and an old friend have brought her and Rowdy together, and Salem is determined to show him that once upon a time he picked the wrong sister. A mission that is working perfectly—until the one person that ties them together appears, threatening to tear them apart for good.
Reviews
The cover is more amazing than the story. It was okay.
3By Annmric8Once again this story will never measure up to Rule. That by far the best story in the marked men series. This story tended to tie all loose ends for all the previous books. It seemed that only half the story was actually about Rowdy and the other half about everyone else. More people are introduced and accepted into there family. Overall, it was okay. Nothing too exciting stands out in this one.The best one...

5By BeBe465Loved this one. Rowdy is just everything you could ask for in a man and a friend. Love the Marked Men Series, that family circle is awesome. Rowdy and Salem's love was true destiny. Love the ups and downs throughout the book because nothing in life is perfect. These two truly got each other. Also love knowing that other romances are brewing from this book. The gang was all their and all there lives continuing to hire as well. Couldn't ask for a better read. Rowdy and Salem much happiness they deserve it.Never disappointed with Jay Crownover!

4By Kimmiesue73This was a good story as all of Jay's books are. I just wish that she had better editing. All the mistakes and typos are very distracting. It is not a rare thing for ebooks in general but you expect more from authors like Jay that are better writers.Loved it !!!

5By Lem56Rule will always be my favorite marked men but Nash is pretty close. I love all of Jay's marked men books. Nash has experienced heart break over and over and feel that he will always be cursed with bad luck. Salem is a take a bull by the horns type a girl and is determined to get Nash back. I loved their journey that they took through insecurities in one another and tragic events. Good read cannot wait for Asa story with Royal. Seems like a mismatched pair but all of the Marked men found their better have with opposing personalities.
