Description
Stone Barrington and his new love rack up the frequent-flier miles with a stalker on their trail in this thrilling adventure in the #1 New York Times bestselling series.
It’s not often that Stone Barrington finds a woman as accustomed to the jet-set lifestyle as he, so he’s pleasantly surprised when he meets a gorgeous pilot. Their travels together lead them from Wichita to Europe, but trailing them is some unwanted baggage: his new lady love’s unstable, criminal ex-boyfriend.
And while Stone is fending off his newest adversary, trouble is brewing on the international stage. Several enemy operatives are at large, and only a coordinated intelligence effort will have any chance of stopping their deadly plot. But the clock is ticking...and time has nearly run out.
Reviews
yawn
1By dianseyesI should have read all the reviews and not purchase this book. So disappointing. Sorry Stuart Woods, this will be my last book I read of yours. (Maybe you should read some manuscripts that other people send you!)Ridiculously bad
1By seymourdequeenWith each new Stone Barrington book, the plots and characters grow more ridiculous and formulaic. (And amen to another reviewer's comments on editing!) I wonder: Is Mr. Woods too complacent with this lazy series to bring back Ed Eagle? Or just not capable of original thinking any more? Glad I read this on someone else's tablet. A waste of money!Written more of diary by a snob
2By Coolguy02Mr. Woods used to write some good stories but not anymore. Stone Barrington and Holly Barker made cameo appearances in this book. The main story was not even about or concerned them, yet it was advertised as a Stone Barrington novel. Must be a new way of writing books. Don't waste your valuable time reading this book like I did.Boring
2By Cathie47Loved all the Stone Barrington books but this was such a disappointment. BoringHooray, back to the real Stone!
5By Rob FinmanA delightful tale characters consistent with the Stone Barrington genre. I enjoyed every page. No politics, no thinly veiled slaps at Republicans.....just fun to read. Thanks very muchI want my money back!
1By Prof vgAbsolutely boring. These novels have gotten worse over time. The writing is so mechanical. No style. No art. My last time.Don't Bother
1By Glenview readerOnly because I didn't have anything else to read, I listened to the "critics" and bought it. Don't bother unless you have a second grade reading ability and no imagination. Writing and dialog were terrible!Weak plots
2By Gary43The two plots are pretty weak. A quick read. I expected more of a Stone Barrington novel.Ridiculous
1By LizKlineMy last Stuart Woods.Poopie book
