It is written from a man's thoughts and saying, but do yourself a favor also and that's too have a box of tissues close as I laughed so many times throughout the book, I cried. For reader enjoyment and understanding, please read this fantastic series in order. Declan and Shannon's story goes on with him trying to propose to her. While hijinx ensues, as it always does when dealing with an unusually close family and an interfering mother. Said mother cannot butt out of anything. Yet it tickled the funny bone. Glad she isn't mine. Shannon just tries to go on with her life. Completely unaware of all the background noise that is putting Declan into stress. She is merely trying to navigate a life where she works for her man, and does not want to be known for him helping her get the job. Just as earlier in the series this book is so seriously funny, I must warn the read to be cautious about what you may eat while reading. Prepare for laughter, tears, and angst. Such an amazing read. 3By Jmk1723I read this and laughed out loud. Loved the characters. The family and friends were loving and funny. Even the cat. My favorite was from Declin's prospective in the latest book. I just love him and can relate to Shannon. I won't be able to wait for the next book in this series. I stayed up all night couldn't put the books down. I was disappointed when I found I had read the last book so far. I signed up for texts and newsletter so I can buy the books the minute they are out.LOL Funny!

If you have read the other books in this series, you know that something is going to go wrong & it does! This book is the POV of Declan & is so funny! I just love what is up in his head. He also has great "nasty" thoughts about Shannon. Which are very hot! You won't be disappointed with this hit from Julia Kent!loved it

Declan and Shannon are great and the cat is a hoot, and Marie Shannon's mother will have you in a fit of laughter. You will fall in love with the whole story. Julia Kent is a great writer. 5By DorwendaThere have been a handful of authors that have held my attention on a literary level; Julia Kent is definitely one of them. From the very first book in this series she held my attention and my heart as Declan and Shannon were introduced as two very unlikely characters to interact with one another. As the books in the series continued I found myself cheering for the possibilities and dreams that each of the characters shared and tried to hold close to themselves. The most amazing aspect of Julia's writing style is that while she writes a lot (HELLO James Patterson) she always manages to keep each story-line from other series separate but with a little hint from an other couple/place/event. She did NOT disappoint in "Shopping for a Billionaire's Fiancee" where she brings in other characters with such fluidity I was literally jumping out of my seat cheering that even the slight mention of name and association was awesome! I don't want to give anything away because Julia Kent is a MUST READ author! The romance, suspense, drama and Laugh-out-Loud antics of the characters in the series are so close to home you will swear she was inside your walls watching some part of your own family-time. The Shopping for a Billionaires series is worth its weight in gold and time, you'll enjoy reading it as much as it appears she enjoyed writing it. GO DECLAN and the rest of the crazy clan in this and other books in the series!Another Huge Hit for Julia Kent!!!
5By jbebout1295Just when I thought I could not possibly love Declan any more than I already did, Julia Kent writes this book and proves me wrong. I swear this almost billionaire is a man among men. I always knew he was a great guy, but having this book written from his point of view has added so many layers to this already fascinating character. You can see that he really loves Shannon to the very core of his soul, and it’s beyond interesting to watch how that love can bring a strong, confident, alpha male like Declan to his knees. It’s absolutely adorable how he gets so nervous he’s actually almost physically ill before his proposal. It’s so un-Declan. His character has grown so much since we first met him... going from a self-centered womanizer to a man who really knows how to love a woman and make her his priority in life. Shannon is one lucky woman! And we are really lucky as readers that Julia Kent has brought us this continuation of Shannon and Declan’s love story. If you haven’t read the rest of the Shopping for a Billionaire series, do so now... immediately, if not sooner. In this book, Julia has given us a read that is sweet, sexy, funny, enticing, intriguing, and all around incredible. I would say she’s definitely got another huge hit on her hands.
