Description
It’s been a week since the dragon Morishtomaric fell, and Sardelle is not convinced that Ridge is truly gone. With a companion who thinks he’s a god and a soldier who would happily kill her, she heads back to the mountains to look for signs that Ridge survived. What they uncover threatens to destroy their country and all they care about.
Meanwhile, the Cofah emperor is furious with Iskandia over the loss of its airships and still has a bounty on Tolemek’s head. King Angulus sends Tolemek, Cas, and Kaika on a daring mission that could solve both problems… or leave them all dead.

4By enj0yl!f3This book is written a bit different than the first 6 books but still action packed with twists and turns and, of course, humorous soulblade dialogue! Another enjoyable book in a very long series.Fast paced, action packed!
5By OESMSLoved the continued saga of Ridge, Sardell, Cas, Tolemek and new dragons! Great job keeping me tied to the story. Binging the series!Best book in the series, so far.
5By dieing for the daily show fix!Riveting and engaging. Smart, and so funny. I laugh more at these books than I thought possible to laugh at a book. The characters are so lovable, relatable and charming. I especially like the female characters. Strong, good examples and role models. My wife and I are about to have our first baby boy. Inspired by the impressive stories, we are considering Zirkander as a name.Great series
5By OneHappyGrammieI really enjoyed getting to know the characters in the Dragon Blood series. I found myself trying to find extra time in the day to read the books, not wanting to even pause between books. I may be a bit prudish but some of the content and innuendo was not what I would want teen readers to have access to. Still, adult readers can enjoy the humor and adventure while keeping the sexuality where it belongs. I loved the personalities that each character had, and I especially enjoyed the way the characters bantered with each other.Kudos for Buroker!
5By WestoversteveFrom Balancing on the Blade's Edge to Soulblade, I thoroughly enjoyed the Dragon's Blood series. The author has created interesting characters, fills them out to perfection, and keeps the action moving. From Ridgewalker Zirlander, the hero, and his sorceress/girlfriend, Sardelle, and her soulblade, Jaxi, to CPT Kaika, explosives expert, you grow enamored of their adventures and want to see how they'll pull off their next mission. Great dialogue helps the transitions, and the pace is always fast!
