Another hit for Susan Stoker! Tackling the issue of domestic violence and with these specific circumstances was done brilliantly. Boone couldn't be more of a manly man and Hayden may be small but she's definitely mighty. They sure make a beautiful pair. These two were burnin' up the pages in this well written story line with all these amazingly well developed characters. BRAVO! I can't wait to see what's next for this fabulous author. I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review. Deputy Sheriff Hayden Yates is called out on a domestic disturbance. When she arrives to the scene, she is drawn to the sexy cowboy, who is the prime suspect. His eyes call to her and implore her to dig deeper to find the truth. Although the other two officers on the scene believe Boone is guilty, they trust Hayden as one of the guys, to find the truth. Hayden determines Boone's ex has lied and purposely injured herself to make it look like Boone hurt her. She's arrested and that sets her off on a path of vengeance. Boone is drawn to Hayden and vows to get to know her better. While Boone finds Hayden extremely sexy and beautiful, others don't see her as he does. Her parents, who always wanted a son, always discouraged her from being feminine. Hayden's own coworkers and friends treat her as "one of the guys". Hayden wants to be more than "one of the boys" and wants to find her HEA. She wants to feel safe and be loved unconditionally--by more than her Ellie. Boone and Hayden's happiness is challenged by his crazy, possessive ex. Can they survive all the obstacles she throws their way? I absolutely loved this novel! Susan Stoker's novels are suspenseful, well-written, witty, and end with a HEA. Each novel is so different, but has Sexy, Aplha men that are swoon worthy!!! I highly recommend this novel to all those women who doubt themselves and wish for their own HEA. Loved it!

I am a huge fan of Susan Stoker. This book is a great example of why! I definitely give it 5 stars!! Justice for Boone has a bit of a different spin in that the big strong alpha dude is the one who is ends up needing rescued. Cowboy Boone Fletcher is in a bit of a pickle when we meet him. His ex-girlfriend (who doesn't accept the ex part of things) has accused Boone of hitting her. Enter Sherriff's Deputy Hayden Yates. The interest between our main characters sparks. Hayden draws negative attention from the ex for uncovering the truth behind her accusations. Boone is quite dismissive of his ex's actions even when her behavior escalates to stalking. Can Hayden get Boone to understand the seriousness of the situation before it's too late?? You'll have to read to find out!!

This is such a GREAT BOOK!! I was sucked right into the story like I always am with a Susan Stoker book!! This is a page turner worthy of losing sleep in order to finish it!! I just could NOT put it down!! Hayden is a tough as nails, Sheriffs Deputy. She responds to a calla nd out of 3 cops, is the only 1 to see the truth of what happened. Justice prevails. Unfortunately, the person who called the police, is non other than Boones exgirlfriend! Things just keep escalating until Hayden and Boone are forced into the confrontation. Who wins? Who dies? Who gets the smackdown? READ THIS STORY TO FIND OUT!!! Susan Stoker has hit this story clear out of the park!! You can't go wrong with this book!!
