The scene is Shar and Gage's wedding day and the groom is MIA. Nobody seems to know where he is and it's everything they can do to keep Shar from taking off in search of him. Gage knows he's running late, but he just got a text from his investigator with a new lead. Could it be? Might he have just found his brother? He has to try to find out. But just when he thinks he has the answer, things go terribly wrong. What will Shar think and do? This story begins with a fast pace and doesn't let up until the end. It's not very long, only 8 chapters, so your questions are answered quickly and I love the setup for the next book. Finally, even though the length is short, it doesn't prevent the author from bringing out the theme of family. My rating - 5 stars
