5By Lynn B8884 1/2 STARS! Exciting from start to finish! With the final book in her Blood Brothers series, Rebecca Zanetti takes us on an explosive finale with Denver's story. We get to meet the love that it has been torturing him to have left ... and get wrapped in a plot to help her track down kidnappers at the same time that Isobel and Sheriff Cobb are closing in on where the brothers have been hiding. The supporting cast has been strong throughout the series so we are familiar with most of the players already going in. The ending was slightly abrupt, but overall a deserving send off to the Blood Brothers! Denver Jones walked away from Noni Yuka a year ago and has lived with the pain of doing so ever since. She is still burrowed deep into his heart and soul, so when he gets a message from her that she needs her help, he's there. The only problem is, her method of contacting him exposed his whereabouts to the past that is trying to take him down! Noni is desperate to track down her kidnapped niece and she keeps hitting roadblocks. The only person she can think of to help her is Denver. She might hate the fact that he broke her heart when he walked out on her, but she will do anything to get Talia back in her arms ... even beg the devil!A great ending to the trilogy
4By RybecbensmomTwisted Truths is Denver and Noni's story. I recommend reading the previous 2 books so that you know the back story, reading the series this trilogy spun off of isn't necessary (but enjoyable). It is a story of triumph over bad childhoods and genetics, and how you define your family is up to you. Dr. Madison believed family was driven entirely by genetics and thought emotional connections were an actual flaw. Denver had to work through the whole "nature vs. nurture" debate in his mind so that he could make Noni and Talia part of his family, plus you get car chases, explosions, and shootouts to add to the romance. A highly enjoyable read.
