5By ilistentomusic(obviously)Overall, it’s a good book. The ending I wanted. However, I really didn’t like this book as much as the others. I did like the darker mood and tone. But this was a pretty boring read. Almost no action and there was no explosive climax. And Michael (while being EXTREMELY powerful which was AWESOME) was only in about nineteen pages total. So I did like the book but it really could have been written better. So many characters were underused or not even present in the story.Best series ever

1By Shadowhunter158As a fan of the Michael Vey series, I was surprised at how this is one of the worst books I have ever read. Almost all of it is pointless filler, and the rest of it is usually forced to move the plot along. Michael comes back after exploding in the sixth book. Apparently, he’s able to materialize into pure energy and back, and he also can control thunderstorms. That’s one of the worst examples of Deux Ex Machina I have ever seen.I LOVE MICHAEL VEY!!!!

I definitely wouldn’t listen to the critics if I were you. The series deserves nothing below a 500/10. So, I repeat, I LOVE MICHAEL VEY!!!!This book is. Good but is not better than Percy Jackson or the heroes of Olympus series
