Her love for the sea, and her amazing sailing abilities have earned her a robust clientele and an opportunity to participate in the renowned Sailing University. The only problem, a hurricane slammed through the Chesapeake, causing severe damage to Hartley’s catamaran, and jeopardizing her business for the foreseeable future. With no reputable company available to do the repairs she requires within the timeframe she needs, Hartley finds herself desperate for help. Enter Jonathan Allen, former naval officer and co-owner of A&R Builds and Restoration. Jonathan, and his best friend Cruz Ramos own and operate the sailboat repair and restoration business, and business is booming. So much so that they really don’t have the time to take on a repair as large as Hartley’s…but Jonathan just can’t tell her no. There’s just something about her that he can’t forget, and he’s hoping for more than just friendship. Together with Cruz, they set out to repair Hartley’s catamaran, and win her heart…because these two guys want a woman of their own. Someone that would appreciate everything they have to offer. As with every book by Laura Kaye that I have had the pleasure of reading, Theirs to Take is an incredible tale of discovery, love, and passion. The plot and storyline are unique, and very well crafted. The story is written with fabulous clarity, insight, and heart. I was completely taken in by the story, with it’s emphasis on family, partnership, and love. The character development was spot on, with each of them burrowing their way into my heart. Hartley was so amazing. Her love for her father, caring for her mother, and the strength to carry on and remain the same sweet, kind, loving woman. She was everything you want to be, and everything you want in a heroine. Jonathan and Cruz were heart-stopping. Each carrying their own brand of sex appeal, masculinity, and honor. Two amazing men, each as different as they are the same, with so much love to give. When the right woman comes along, every woman will be jealous of what they have to offer her. This book was amazing, and I can’t wait to see what Ms. Kaye brings us next time. Kristie K

4 1/2 STARS! Kaye certainly knows how to meld an ordinary man into a scorchingly sexy hero! If you’ve been following along with this series, you will recognize Jonathan & Cruz from small appearances in previous books. They are sexy hot dominates who are 2 of the 12 Masters that opened up Baltimore’s hottest BDSM club Blasphemy. They are best friends and like to share their women. This is the first book in the series to kind of let us get to know the characters outside of the club predominantly, and it was fun! We got a delicious feel for them as the people they are outside of the dominate world before we saw the gently controlling side of them. The plot brought a couple of family issues to light that definitely could have been developed more to make it a more rounded story, and these two guys are not nearly as demanding as some of the other Doms we’ve encountered in the series, but they were fun and sweet and tender … and you have to love them! Overall a great read! Hartley Farren is in a panic when her catamaran is damaged due to a storm. That boat is her livelihood, and if she’s going to make the commitments she has promised, she needs to get it fixed ASAP! When luck puts her in the tracks of Jonathan Allen, she finds out he’s a boat restorer with his partner Cruz Ramos and sweet talks him into taking a look at the work she needs done. Jonathan is an easy going fun loving type of guy who enjoys bantering with a pretty lady, so he can’t resist giving Hartley a hand when he can see how worried she is about her boat. He convinces Cruz that they should help her .. and doesn’t deny that he’s majorly attracted to her! Cruz is the more serious of the two and worries about their own deadlines when Jay brings Hartley and her boat problems to his attention, but he can tell how much Jonathan wants to help her, and he finds it hard to resist him anything … so here they are … working all hours of the day and night on her boat with her by their side helping as much as possible. When she finds out they are dominates and like to share their women, she’s highly curious … and just might talk herself into going for what she wants … both of them!

Theirs to Take was an heart felt story of three individuals trying to find a place to belong. Their story was like working a complex puzzle and finally fitting all the pieces together perfectly. This is a must read! Thanks, Laura Kaye, for sharing your talents with us!!!

This book is holy hotness, Batman! Off the charts steamy. I was so glad to see Jonathan and Cruz would get their story after getting glimpses of them throughout the other books. Hartley is immediately likable and I really liked the fact that Cruz and Jonathan meet her outside the club. Here’s my gripe: I wanted more! Laura Kaye does angst really well and there wasn’t a lot of it in this book. Yes, it’s an erotica, but I also want the romance aspect of it. The give and take; ups and downs; the moment that (even though you know there’s a HEA) you get that little tug in the middle of your heart when the character’s heart breaks. Some people may not want that. Some people may love the fact that these characters meet, decide they like each other and want to give it a shot, and it all works out. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with that. But as a fan of Laura Kaye’s, I’m always going to want more. 😉 All that said, I still really enjoyed their story. This is a great addition to the Blasphemy series!
