5+Stars Heart crushing, soul shattering emotions, make this the best book that I have read this year!!! Laura Kaye always brings the best to you in her books, but the amount of work and research that she put into this book will amaze you. Anybody with family in the military knows what they go through on a personal level and that just adds more emotions to this book for me. Noah, Oh Noah. My heart hurt for you and what you were going through alone. Kristina’s heart was crushed because she had lost her best friend and the man that she just discovered she was in love with. Little does Kristina know, that by her rejecting Noah, she just opened his eyes and saved his life. This book is at the top of my favorites list for this year and probably longer. Everyone needs to read this book. This is the beginning of a new series and I can’t wait until book two releases.

Laura Kaye outdid herself. This is the best book ever. If you haven’t read a Laura Kaye book, you are really missing out. Thank you, I can’t wait for the others in the series, but Noah is still my favorite.

I absolutely love this new series! Fighting for Everything is the first book in the Warrior Fight Club series and let me tell you, it is a series that I will be anxiously waiting for the next book. This is a friends to lovers story that will leave feeling every emotion these character do and it is all because of the amazing writing! Kristina and Noah grew up together and have been beat friends for as long as they can remember. Everything has always been easy for these two until Noah comes back from the military damaged on the inside and outside. He is lost and broken in ways that no one knows and he has no idea how to find his way out. Kristina will do everything to help him come back to her and refuses to let him push her away. But what happens when that attraction is suddenly multiplied and now new feelings emerge? Will this be what finally breaks them or will this heal them beyond what they thought was possible? Omg guys... just go pick up this book and get started! You will instantly be sucked in and unable to put it down. Noah will make you want to hug and hold him, while Kristina will make you want to high five her! You will not regret buying this book!

Laura Kaye seems to have the patent for tortured alpha males - ones who have earned their scars fighting for their country but, one way or another, have not gotten the help they so desperately need, which leaves them finding outlets on their own terms, which either heal their wounds or send them spiraling even further. Kaye’s newest hero, Noah Cortez, valiantly fought for his country, but now he has an even bigger fight on his hands - his own demons, and unless he admits his issues and seeks help for what’s sending him over the edge, he won’t be able to move forward with his life and have the chance to see where these newfound feelings for Kristina could take them both. Kristina Moore is her own kind of fighter, so the fact that she feels helpless when it comes to her best friend and her inability to heal his emotional wounds, she’s devastated and that fact is compounded by the fact that Noah pushes her away because he feels it’s the only way to protect her from his issues. But Kristina isn’t willing to give up on the man she loves, which means that like it or not, Noah has someone fighting in his corner, willing to risk everything. Fighting For Everything is an apt name for the battle that Noah and Kristina find themselves in throughout their friends-to-lovers story line; there are a significant amount of obstacles that have the potential to crush them, which means that their journey is an emotional one, full of angst fueled by Noah’s PTSD and brain injury and Kristina’s determination to not allow Noah to shut her out because their feelings for one another are worth the risks that come with fighting what seems to be an ‘unwinnalbe’ situation. Because Noah and Kristina’s story is the first book in Kaye’s new Warriors Fight Club series, insights into the MMA gym where Noah finds an outlet for his frustrations and potential future heroes is necessary, and it definitely adds to the intrigue of what Laura Kaye has in store for her readers. Despite the depth of Noah’s issue, Fighting Everything is a hopeful second chance romance story - one that realistically portrays the struggles that wounded heroes go through and what’s at stake if they remain untreated for all that they’ve endured. There were many times throughout the story that Noah’s actions frustrated me, but that was more because I saw what it was doing to Kristina and hated that for both of them, and it’s also because I was so invested in their relationship and quietly cheering for them to figure things out together instead of fighting separately while wanting the same thing. I can’t wait for more stories in this series; I can’t get enough of Laura Kaye’s wounded heroes and the women who find a way to heal them! 4.5 Poison Apples (The Fairest of All Book Reviews)

Fighting for Everything is a well written book. It deals with some difficult issues and Laura Kaye does a great job with it. The way she writes and explains Noah and all of his thoughts and actions is so good. Everything that he has been through and is going through makes sense and makes you feel and root for him. Being in his head was really interesting for me, especially all the ups and downs he has and how he deals with them. Kristina is a nice and caring girl who will do anything for Noah. I love how she interacts with him and doesn't let him shut her out, she's determined. Her and Noah are a great match; Kristina is just what Noah needs in his life. I really enjoyed Fighting for Everything and am definitely interested in continuing the series.

This book is what I have come to expect from a Laura Kaye book, especially a military related one - emotional, intense and raw at moments, respectful, sexy and sweet. The biggest thing I can say here is that the issues related to Noah's TBI and PTSD were handled incredibly well. It's clear that Ms. Kaye took the time to truly understand these issues and not just on the surface, but how the lives of someone with these issues are affected over a long period of time, from daily tasks to jobs, personality changes, to family and friends to other relationships. Now on to the rest of the book. I liked Kristina as well. There was a long standing friendship between these two before the book's starting point. Kristina was definitely a positive influence on Noah, but it wasn't one of those "her love miracle cured him" storylines at all - he did the things he needed to do to manage his issues. The relationship side is maybe a bit more like a 4.5 star for me just due to a couple of super super minor things, but overall, I LOVED the book and I think it definitely falls in at 5 stars. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I recommend this book and if you haven’t tried Laura Kaye before, this is a fabulous time to start!
