5By Heathercm2001I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. Not only is it a new book by Dianna Love, but it is the first book in a brand new series from her. My anticipation had been building for months, and I was not disappointed. In fact, I now have anticipation building for the next book in the series. This world is full of power and violence, but also loyalty and love. I really enjoyed the magic and Love's twist on the shifter lore. It was very interesting, and mysterious, especially with all of the different enemies. Tess and Cole were perfect for each other, but things just never seemed to go right for them. If I am reading a book with a complex story, intense action, and really hot romance, I want it to be by Dianna Love, because she always gets it right.
