Stalking His Mate

This is Rory’s story of trying to integrate with Farrell his jaguar ( shifter ) before dying. In comes Siofra a seemingly Cadell owned slave who has finally escaped with the help of the “man” she considers a brother. Everything these two do is seemingly at cross purposes. Everything starts to implode when Siofra takes off with Scarlet’s assistance to save Gan, her brother. Lot’s of heat, excellent world building, references to others from previous books, though this story can definitely be read as a standalone. I loved everything about this book.. 5🌟’s and I can’t wait for book 4 !! I received a copy of the book from the Author and am voluntarily choosing to leave a review.

Dianne, you have a great, creative, and fantastic imagination! Your ability to weave a story that has quite a few characters, diversity, and a interwoven storyline and still keep it uncluttered and simple is wonderful! Thanks for the wonderful fantasy story!

Stalking His Mate by Dianna Love Paranormal romantic suspense. 3rd in the League of Gallize Shifter series. Rory is a jaguar shifter. He has never really connected with his animal and he is no longer healing from battle wounds on his own. He is an alpha apex predator and part of the Gallize. Siofra was captured at the age of 6 and has been working slave labor since then for the Cadell. She’s been taught that the Gallize are monsters and has learned to stay away from all shifters. When the two cross paths their awareness and energies connect and intensifies. For Rory, who has always rejected the idea of a Mate, suddenly has his jaguar sure that Siofra is their mate. For Siofra, who has learned to dislike shifters, realizes that maybe all shifters aren’t bad. It’s an intense race to save Siofra from both the Black River wolf pack and the Cadells while fighting an underground drug trade and black market shifter auction. Be aware there is an overall arc to this series so while it’s a complete story for Rory and Siofra, there are unanswered questions. I was impressed with the level of knowledge Siofra had of the world by simply reading books and watching old movies. And how well she adapted to being out in the world on her own. Be warned: her power can kill and she uses it several times on some really cruel shifters, once at least a bit gory and graphic. She cries at the acknowledgement of having killed. A thrilling ride from start to finish I recently listened to the audio version narrated by Stephen R Thorne who does most of the authors books. Stephen does a great job with emotions, tension and character variations.

AMAZING! Stalking His Mate is book 3 in the League of Gallize Shifters series. The description says it can be a stand alone book. I have not read the first two in the series, and was a little worried because books in a series will say they are stand alone, then leave you confused. Stalking His Mate did not. It is not only a stand alone book, but I was able to understand how it fits in the series. I was hooked from the beginning, and did not want to put it down! Rory is the typical alpha male that wants to protect the female while battling his own inner issues, while Siofra is a feisty, strong willed, and loyal woman who doesn’t like to do what men tell her to do. They have to learn to trust each other and work together to find Siofra’s brother. Of course there are mishaps along the way. I went thru every emotion while reading this book. It was well written, and flowed from beginning to end. I will definitely be getting the first two in the series! “I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from the publisher”.

Intense is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Stalking His Mate. Yes, it perfectly describes the thrilling plot, but I can't help but think of Rory. He tore me apart. The conflict between him and his jaguar, and how it was destroying them both was heartbreaking to watch. Rory is loyal to everyone. He is willing to sacrifice himself for others, but he doesn't accept himself, and it is killing him. Rory's strong will paired exquisitely with Siofra's. I like stubborn characters, and these two were the epitome of stubborn. Dianna Love's character development is superb. I live for characters like her's. They are the kind of characters that jump off the page, and right into your heart. While Stalking His Mate is part of a series, it works great as a standalone as well. However, I think you'll want to read the rest of the series after you check out this one. It was a terrific read and I adored the ending.

Dianna Love is one of my new favorite authors. My first exposure to her writing was in conjunction with one of my other favorite authors in which they co-wrote “The Belador Series “. I have found Dianna’s book series “The League of Gallize Shifters” just as riveting. Stalking his Mate is a story about two individuals whom seem to be total opposites. Rory a jaguar shifter is a black op’s soldier that helps to protect humans and shifters alike. He finds himself constantly battling with the idea of being a shifter born in a non-shifter family. While on a mission he finds a young woman named Siofra who was taken as a child from her family and raised as a slave in a camp that deals in shifter trafficking. Despite her terrible childhood she has a heart of gold only wanting to help others. Their journey helps them both overcome their inner demons while accepting their other worldly gifts as they become a whole together.
