Book 2 in New York Times Bestseller Dianna Love’s brand-new series continues with huge reveals and unexpected twists.
Daegan is running out of time to find the destructive dragon impersonating him and the woman who claims to be the Treoir family squire, but Casidhe has no intention of being caught. She’s racing to find her best friend believed captured by a deadly being. With Atlanta reeling from supernaturals being revealed, the Beladors are battling to protect humans while losing their own to Imortiks possessing any warm body, human or nonhuman. Hunting answers in Ireland lands Tristan somewhere he quickly realizes epitomizes a fate worse than death. Cathbad visits Queen Maeve to gain access to her resources, but the meeting turns explosive and costs him more than he could have imagined.
Imortiks drawn to the venom in Daegan’s body are draining his powers when he needs them most. With Beladors awaiting execution in Atlanta and Tristan still to be found, Daegan goes all in to gain information. Choosing the lesser of two evils means still ending up with one.

*This is a 9-book spinoff series for first-time readers as well as current Belador fans.

Dianna Love has done it again!!! She uses the same imagery as Book 1, so you can see the story unfold in your head as you are reading. We find out some useful information, and we get to see Daegan get flustered, get inside his head, and yet again, we're left with an ending leaving us wanting Book 3 NOW! Treoir Dragon Chronicles are a must read for any Belador fan, and if you haven't been introduced to the Belador's, now is the perfect time!

4.5 Stars  This is book 2 in the Treoir Chronicles of the Belador World series and we are back with Daegan trying to save his people. The action and adventure are BRILLIANT! The different story line threads weaving through this book are separate but connected in a way we are just starting to see.  BRAVO! This author is a master story teller! I get so immersed in the Belador world that it takes me a little while before I can pick up another book to read. I can’t wait for a book 3.

It's a really good thing that these books are coming out so close together. If I had to wait months and months for the next one, the anticipation just might do me in. Book 2 picks up right where the first one ended, and continues to weave a thrilling, unputdownable story. The plot is moving quickly, which is nerve-wracking because the Imortiks are terrifying. The book conjures the constant feeling of "something big is coming." The kicker is, it's not just one big thing. I'm invested in all of these characters, good and bad, and the complex and intense roads they are travelling. But I have a feeling we are just at the tip of a massive iceberg. As far as the cliff-hangers go, well-played Dianna Love. Well-played, indeed. Just like last time, I can't wait to get my hands on the next one.
