Description

Finding your soul mate is a dream Adeline Hamilton thought was just that … a dream. After several failed relationships, she realizes she’s not capable of falling in love. The only passion she’s ever had is teaching U.S. History at the local high school.

A week before Christmas, Adeline is all set for her best friend’s wedding, even though she dreads having to go to it alone. But when she’s given a Christmas wish that could change her future forever, she’s whisked away to the past, to a completely different place and time. It’s also when she meets him, William Blair, the man who steals her heart.

As their relationship grows, Adeline realizes that true love does exist. What she doesn’t know is that her wish can’t last forever, that soon she’ll have to leave the past behind. Will Adeline and William find their way back to each other? Or will their love have to stay where it all began . . . in 1865? With mistletoe and Christmas magic, anything’s possible.

A little history, a bit of mystery and the magic of mistletoe. This delightful story ties together the past and the present in a big bow of heartfelt Christmas spirit and joy of the season. The imagery of the author’s writing is breathtaking! Her perfectly crafted story created such a crisp mental image of visual pageantry that I felt like I was time traveling. It Must’ve Been the Mistletoe has all the elements of the best Hallmark movies. The movie will forever live in my heart and evoke all of the best feelings of Christmas!

This book was so unique. Sweet contemporary, historical, with a healthy dose of Christmas magic thrown in. Adeline has never been lucky in love so she focuses on being an awesome high school history teacher and helping her best friend get married. When an unbelievably realistic dream transports her back to the 1800s and has her meeting the love of her life, she starts to change her mind about love being for her. Adeline and William fall for each other in the 1800s but when the present shows up again, they have to find their way back to each other. I read a lot of holiday stories around Christmastime and this one is so unlike anything I have ever read. I'm not a huge fan of historical romance but the periods of the book that took place in the past were so interesting and made me think that I might have to revisit my stance on not reading historicals. This book has me believing in the powerful magic of love and mistletoe. I am really in the mood for all things Christmas after reading this book! *This is my voluntary review of an advanced reader copy*

William and Adeline watch out for hat mistletoe A beautiful love story written by the amazing Lp Dover. It’s different from what she has written in the past and as always Lp has a way with words. William is a big time realtor, and Adeline is a family history lover and teacher. When her best friends wedding to his brother approaches she try to set them up. However he gets stuck okay work. Something happens when she goes home that night. Living in a dream world before her time, she begins to love the era and her family that she never met. She meets a man named William and falls in love with him. With the Christmas magic in the air they promise each not to forget when she wakes. However he forgets her but she doesn’t forget him. Will he remember if will he forget their true love. I give this amazing Christmas romance five stars. If you haven’t one clicked i would now.
